October....

My parents came to visit for a quick weekend at the beginning of the month.  We hit up the Animal Farm (yet again) with Carly and the twins, my parents had never been and Owen and the girls absolutely love the place. 

That same weekend we went to the BYU vs Utah State game with our good friends the Baumans who were in town. Love them!

Brett and I had a fun date night at the Real Salt Lake playoff game this weekend with our friends the Berry's.

And Owen had his first experience in the ER last night.  The paranoid mama in me took him an Insta Care because he was coughing and having a hard time breathing....short, rapid breaths and really wheezy.  The insta care sent us to ER where he got some meds, took a chest x-ray and got some breathing treatments.  

 Thanks to Backyardigans on Brett's i-phone, he didn't mind the whole experience and was pretty chill.  

Three and a half hours later we were sent home, Owen breathing much better.  He's got bronchitis, we did inhaler treatments every two hours last night and are doing them every four hours today.   He's our little asthmatic.

And that is October in a nutshell (at least the beginning of the month and the end....not sure what really went on in between)!

Weekend in Glenwood & Aspen

Brett's good friend Adam got married in Aspen, Co a couple of weekends ago.  Friday we stayed and played in Glenwood Springs with Craig and Sheri, before heading to the wedding in Aspen Saturday afternoon. 

Friday afternoon we rode the gondola up to the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park to ride the Giant Canyon Swing.

Adam & Muriel's wedding in Aspen was outdoors.  The weather was perfect and the ceremony was so nice.

Happy Feet

Over the weekend we went to a wedding in Aspen, Co. Owen had his happy feet on and we couldn't keep him off the dance floor at the reception.

Owen & Jack...

Our friends Tawny and her little boy Jack were in town last week and were able to come play for a while.  The boys fought over toys half of the time and were best buddies the other half. 

They had the most fun pushing each other around in the car and exploring dark rooms with flashlights (which I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of.)

 

The last time these two got together (back in December) they were up to the same thing, pushing each other around on the car. Boys will be boys! I love seeing how much they've grown up since then.

 

 

Maybe these two will be college roomies someday! Miss you Georges.
