Just a Thought

The virtue of your own life will be a light to those who sit in darkness, because you are a living witness of the fullness of the gospel. HER CANDLE GOETH OUT NOT BY NIGHT. We are here to be a light. To lead others safely home.
There is a great light within each of us. A light we brought with us. This light comes from a divine source and is made even brighter on the earth as we partake of the enabling power of the atonement.
Jesus said, ‘I am the light and the life and the truth of the world.’ If we tap into the true source of Everlasting light through daily prayer, studying and pondering the scriptures, service and surrounding ourselves with things that are of good report and praiseworthy we can have the companionship of the Spirit to help us utilize the power of the atonement for good in our individual lives and in our homes. A light that never goes out for those we love

I read this quote earlier in the week and have found myself thinking about it often, and reading it over and over. Just thought I'd share.

Cocoa Anyone?

Call me crazy, but I am obsessed with having a cup of hot cocoa every night before bed. It's not even cold outside yet. But last week we had ONE rainy, gloomy, and chilly day that made me just want to curl up on the couch with a cup of cocoa. So that's exactly what I did that night.....and just about every night since. I'm ready for fall and winter!!

BYU vs Oklahoma.....A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

Walking into the stadium (a very nice OU fan offered to take our pic-they were by far the classiest fans!)
The back shot, looking at the stadium The GI-NORMOUS Jumbotron
Brett ran the flag out
Final Score: BYU 14 - OU 13 (the score board was so hard to see, my only complaint about the stadium)
The Haka after the game! Brett gets so into it, I love it!
A very happy hubby:)
Me and Linds after the game
Kimi and Brett
All of us!
What a game! My heart was pounding ALL 4 quarters. The intensity, anxiety, screaming and cheering, jumping up and down, losing my voice, was all so much fun! The stadium was amazing, the game was amazing, and I had a great time (lots of laughing) with the in-laws!
Go Cougs! Can't wait for another game!
