Water World

I spent 10 days with Owen in Colorado visiting mine and Brett's parents. Brett was able to make a quick weekend trip with us to visit his parents first, then I headed to Alamosa with my parents to stay with them for a week while Brett headed back to work.

By the end of the trip, Owen was a disaster, sleep deprived, and so ready to be home.  I should have known it was going to be a rough 10 days when he screamed and kicked (like he was having an out of body experience) the first 30 minutes of our flight to Denver, as well as on the descent.  He cried.  I cried.  I'm sure people around me cried.

He's never been a great traveler but I always think to myself, "This time will be different."  It certainly didn't help that he got a mild ear infection while were there and also cut two new teeth!

We still made the most of the trip, and as always we set aside a day for Water World.  Owen loved every minute of it.  Happiest day of the trip for him:)

So Fun! He is a little water boy isn't he. Loved the picture of him going down the slide all by himself. He's one brave kid. Hope you had a great time with your family. I had a similar experience with you on the airplane. Its the worst! Lets catch up tomorrow.

That's so awesome that Owen is so brave! Audrey would NEVER slide by herself or even with me and she won't stand too close to splashing water so it won't get in her face. Total wimp. Hopefully Landon will be an Owen twin and have all the fun Audrey avoided!

Oh so fun, water world is one of my most favorite places! I was just thinking about you the other day, I wish I would have known you were going to be here in colorado, we should have gotten together! But I know how time flies when you're traveling. We'll be back in Utah in about a month, so we'll have to get together then. Hope you guys are doing well. Owen looks adorable :)
